Happy New Year!

I'm a little late, but Happy New Year everyone! And with a new year comes new projects! Included in these new endeavors are more menus, social media projects, and a very special wedding invitation! Check in every once in awhile to see what's new!

Back in the New York Groove

The time has come to leave New Orleans and return to the motherland - New York! It's great to be back, though it is a bit more chilly than I am used to these days.

Anyways, new beginnings calls for a makeover, so I have done some much needed updates to my portfolio. I hope you like them!

Signing Together

It's finally here! The day Signing Together is available to buy! This is a project close to my heart as it is raising money for Cornelia de Lange syndrome, a disorder a close family friend is living with. Each book donates money to research for the disorder. Written by Katelyn Brush, it is for anyone wanting to learn American Sign Language!

From Katelyn:

"Remember this book is for anyone 6 months and up. It's a resource to teach American Sign Language for those who struggle with communication and also for those who just want to have fun reading a book!
Everyone of us can come together and make a positive change in the world and by purchasing this you will be helping those effected by Cornelia de Lange Syndrome. The book was inspired by my cousin (the main character) who was born with this syndrome and by the possibility that the language could make her daily challenges even the tiniest bit easier. With all this in mind I don't know if I could think of any way to relay my gratitude for everyone who has helped me along the way, those that have served as motivators, critiques and supporters, thank you just does not cut it! This book is just as much their creation as it is mine. Thank you a thousand times over xox"

A few nights ago I had the pleasure of eating at one of New Orleans best new pop ups, The PDR. It is run by my close friend and amazing chef Rita Bernhardt and her partner William Barial. Equally as exciting as the delicious food was getting to see the logo I designed for them in action!

While I admit it is not the best photo, I was more concerned at the moment with the amazing food that was being placed in front of me. Here is a better photo taken by Ian McNulty (also, that SALAD).

Check out the PDR by visiting http://www.thepdrnola.com/ and make a reservation for their next dinner!

New Projects for a New Season!

September is right around the corner! I personally can't wait, as fall is my absolute favorite season. And with a new season comes new projects! One I am super stoked on is for Nightmare Brewing Company. Based in New York and created by the ever so talented Billy Powell, it is sure to haunt your dreams.

Here is a sneak peek at the design process!
